I need a few specific photos of Umbria for the March issue of Dream of Italy.

I'm looking for 1) a few general shots of the Umbria countryside 2) a shot of Orvieto 3) a shot of Foligno 4) photo of Palazzo dei Priori in Perugia and 5) maybe a shot of some typical Umbrian food. I have been looking high and low for these photos for a few days and just remembered that you guys would be the perfect resource!!

Here's what I can offer: A FREE one-year Internet subscription to Dream of Italy($59 value right now) and of course, photo credit in the newsletter.

Feel free to contact me or send photos to kathytravels@aol.com. I basically need them today. Thanks!!!!!!

Hi Kathy
You are welcome to any of mine that may be of use. If you do require any, let me know the format. I have set this link to Orvieto, however you can go back to any of 10 or so pages of Umbria earlier in the list.

Kathy, I sent you a link to some photos I have at a Kodak online picture center. Someday I'll learn how to download them and post them on the SlowTrav site (sigh)

Hi Kathy

may beit isalready too late, but I have a few rather beautiful pictures of the Umbrian countryside and I could get you more about the other subjects. The person who did most of the pictures for our web page (see link in my signature) has a marvellous collection (I'd say professional level) but he does not have them ready in digital form. He does not speak or read English, but he would be only too pleased to provide the pictures if you can wait a couple of days that he can digitalize his slides.

I could send you what I already have in JPEG but I would need to know what format (nr. pixels) you need as my server is pretty slow and I cannot send big files.

As this is my first post to the slowtalk, I guess I better introduce myself to the community. I am a 100% Umbrian but I lived several years abroad, including US, Holland, Switzerland, Austria. I returned home together with my Dutch husband Ruurd to have our daughter Tea, now 2.5, and to complete the restoration of our farmhouse in Assisi that is presently Agriturismo Alla Madonna del Piatto. I found out about the Slowtrav.com from Sally Watkins who came to visit us last January. Thanks Sally!

And ciao to all Slowtravellers
