I need to find some other people who are interested in either brushing up on conversational Italian, speak and understand the spoken language better, or even learn basics etc. My Italian teacher is starting 1-3 day immersion sessions that not be classroom fashion, but spending an entire 1-3 days touring, shopping, eating, whatever-where we will speak Italian all day in all situations. She needs to have a minimum of 2-preferably 4 per day to make it worth her while. I want to do this often since it is a great way to learn hearing and speaking it for extended periods-like being in an immersion class only better. She is a certified teacher and has good command of the English language as well. If anyone is interested in joining me or even setting up their own time,please email me using private topic. I don't have the details on the exact cost but for about 7 hours each day, for 2 it may be 175 euro and for 4 people may be about 300 euro for the group. I can get more details once she knows if there is any interest. She hs also been a tour guide so this would be included when visiting the towns. The area would be Umbria/Tuscany. I am so excited about doing this-if I am ever to be fluent-this is a good addition to my regular lessons. What I miss most is the ongoing conversation-forcing me to use what I know. Whether you live here or come for vacation-this seems like it would be useful to many. I wish I had this opportunity early on!
