Looking for a direct flight from New York/ Newark to Palermo, can't seem to find one, help...

Can't be done......

Most common routing is NYC to Milan or Rome, connecting to Palermo or Catania.

Or there are some of the new bargain airlines that fly to Sicily out of England, France, etc.

Here is a link to a page that lists all the incoming flights to Palermo by city. It tends to take a long time to load...have patience.

Volareweb.com offers flights from Linate Milano and Roma fiumicino to Palermo. Very cheap flights. Don't know if they would work for you or not but its worth a try

We are flying from Washington DC to Palermo through Milan and back from Rome (also connecting in Milan) next month....the open jaw fare was just a couple of dollars more than flying in and out of Rome. You shouldn't have to buy a separate flight into Palermo.....
