Hi there. I had no trouble booking the hotel for Rome, Florence, or the rental villa. I am stumped with Venice. We are a group of 4 staying in Venice for three nights in October (arriving on Saturday, Oct 7 and departing for Rome on Tuesday, October 10). One of our party is on a budget and only wants to spend about 200 euro for a room. One of our party is older and will have difficulty walking with luggage, the hotel would need to be close to a water taxi stop and preferably have a lift.

Any thoughts or am I off my rocker?

How about two twin rooms, for 100 Euros each?
There are hotels in that price range, particularly near the train station.

Convent accommodation might work also.
