Hi folks!

Anyone know if there are any attractive wine bars in Siena that do light meals?

Thanks!

I Tre Terzi, a wonderful enoteca with probably someof the best food in Siena. You can check out the differnt links from THIS SEARCH ON GOOGLE
The other place is of course the Enoteca Italiana

Here are a couple of wine oriented restaurants from Slow Food which are both designated for their wine. I have not eben to either but a slow travel nod is a good sign.

Grotta di Santa Caterina Da Bagoga
Via della Galluzza, 26
0577 282208

Osteria Castelvecchio
Via Castelvecchio, 65
Tel. 0577 49586

I have also heard great things about Enoteca I Terzi (I think that's the name) but I have not details and have not been able to find anything in a quick search on the web.

I think Cristina and I must have hit the post button at the same time. I had misspelled Terzi in my original post. Enotecca Italiana is huge but I found it depressing on my one and only visit with an uninteresting assortment of wine by the glass. I didn't stay and have never been back.

My favorite Enoteca is in Montalcino where a great light meal can eb had with a superb view at Osteria Osticcio

Ciao Cristina,

Thanks for the info. Are you the same Cristina on Expats? I wrote you directly a few days ago, did you get it?

Cheers,
