Hi there! I am planning to move to Rome in about 2 weeks, and I´m trying to find a room to rent in a flat-share, could you suggest me any web-site, I tried in www.wantedinrome.com and www.intoitaly.it and found some, but not enough, it does not matter if the adds are in Italian. Thank you.
When you get to Rome, there is a newspaper that is published twice a week called Porta Portese. It is solely classified ads for rooms and apartments. In addition, 99% of the ads are in Italian. They might have a web site, but I am not sure.
This message is for Stefania, I got your private message but I could not reply to you because I am having problems login, could you give me an e-mail where to reply to you? THANK YOU EVERYBODY FOR YOUR HELP!!!!!!!
Portaportese does have a web site. Click on Rubriche, Immobiliare, Affitto/subaffitto. Then type in "camera" as the keyword and select your price range. You will find people wanting to rent out a room in their home as well as flat shares.
You'll usually find better prices if you go after ads in Italian.

Sì que lo hablo! Muy mal, mesclado con italiano, pero sì.
I'll switch to English. With a friend from Spain (es canaria) we started "El grupo inglés - español de Roma". We meet about once a week and speak an hour of English and an hour of Spanish. It's a bit of an exageration to call it a group though, it is usually just she and I. We've have a number of people come for a while (mostly Spaniards) but they were more interested in learning Italian rather than practicing English or Spanish.
I will be happy to join you guys, I don´t mind speaking in English since I love it, and I don´t wanna loose it, but also would love to practise Italian, because I really need to improve it, also I don´t mind speaking in Spanish (my language) either.... I sent you e-mail (the one in that web webfrabbrica....), giving you my e-mail, cell-phone, etc. So where are you from?
If you want to practice your Italian, there are usually ads on the bulletin board at Instituto Cervantes by Italians who want to practice their Spanish in exchange for conversation in Italian.
