It lookslike it's on the corner of the Lungotevere, which is the avenue along the river. It's possibly pretty noisy from traffic. However, via Giulia is a quiet street. That "walking distance" to Campo and Pantheon is stretching it a it. But with a Roma Pass it's easy to get from there on the bus. It looks very nice inside.

It seems to me that the location in a cul-de-sac off Largo Orbitelli will protect you from the noises of Largotevere and I can't think of many more delighful streets in Rome than Via Giulia.
As to distances, "steps to" is always in the eye of the advertiser or of the walker. For Piazza Navona, you will have less than one km., even less for Campo de' Fiori, while Piazza di Spagna will be at least double this distance and Piazza Venezia about 1.5 km. And you will be at the higher-end end of Corso Vittorio Emanuele II.
Most importantly, Rome is made to walk: try every day a new itinerary, don't worry about getting lost, and you will be an explorer every day!
The apartment is definitely within walking distance of the Castle Sant'Angelo and about 15-20 minute walk from St. Peter's. It might be too far to walk to the Forum and Colosseum for some, but you can get bus and tram on the Corso Vittorio Emanuelle. I stayed on this same street last year and will again this November. This street Vicolo Orbitelli is a wonderful short street near the end of Via Guilia and next to the Florentine Church. The street is very short and VERY quiet. I stayed at 13 Vicolo Orbitelli and suspect your apartment is straight across the street from mine. As far as easy access to major sights you are only 15 minutes from Largo Argentina walking, 10 minutes from the Campo and 2 minutes to a grocery and 1 minute to bus stops both on Corso Vittorio Emmanuelle and also behind the street the Tiber River. Also, not far to Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Trevi, Trastevere, and Piazza Farnese. You are very near Castel Angelo and St. Peter's. This is a lovely area to stay and I think you would be very happy here for easy public transportation and walking distances. The electric bus goes down Via Guilia which is super. Have a wonderful trip, Richard
Thanks everyone. I actually realized this apartment was just a few blocks from another apartment I rented in 2006 and I love the location. Apartment booked
