Hello all. After success regarding my inquiry about Portovenere I am soliciting your regarded opinions on accomodations in the Chianti countryside, preferrably around Radda in Chianti. A quiet spot with a pool for about 150 euros for 3 should do nicely . . . am I dreaming?

we visited a lovely winery in chianti and they mentioned on the tour portion of our visit that they offered rooms to stay. it's not near Radda per se, but closer to Greve. check out Castello Verrazzano and see what ya think. i think i saw their rooms for 3 are 129e/night. Gino is the winemaker there and he was such a darling man, a wonderful host.

Lately it occurs to me
what a long, strange trip its been

We are staying at Fattoria Tregole at the end of March. It is located in Castellina in Chianti. I chose it because of the review on SlowTalk and because I wanted a quite place that produced their own wine. It is a family run farm and they have rooms in the B&B (we are paying 115 euros a night) and two apartments. Looks good. Check out the other reviews in that area on this site to see what is available. Good luck!
