Is it possible to rent a vehicle in Lucca. We are planning 7 days in Lucca with 2 day trips by public transport but would like to rent a car to explore the country side a bit. We really do not need a car for the entire week. Thanks for you help.

I am renting a car for 2 weeks in May and picking it up in Lucca.(we are flying into Pisa and staying in Lucca for 2 days - picking up the car when we leave Lucca) I went through AutoEurope. There are 2 places listed through AE located within the walls of Lucca. you shouldn't have any problem finding a car there.
