A lot of people here had good experiences with Romashuttle so I filed it for use for my upcoming trip to Italy in October. The website was easy to follow and I made my reservation (including the information about my credit card). After signing off, I received a confirmation email (automatically generated) from Romashuttle saying they would process my request. Immediately I received another email from this address Postmaster@winhostentssl03.hosting.corp.gd saying that my request to Romashuttle had failed.
The upsetting thing was that all of my reservation request was printed in the email from Postmaster including all my credit card information. Has this ever happened to anyone else?
I've emailed Romashuttle directly for an explanation, but the credit card disclosure is very upsetting.
well, the fax was a good idea but I cannot find a fax number anywhere on their website. The "contact us" info is by phone or email. I guess I'll try phone.
We used them just a few weeks ago and were very pleased. Out plane was very late, but there they were with the sign waiting for us.
There was one minor glitch. They told me by email that they take credit cards, but their driver said he didn't have the machine with him. So we paid cash. Not a big deal, just thought you should know.

Art and Barb, thanks for your comment, but my problem is that I am flying into FCO from the USA and want someone to pick me up at the airport and take me to the Rome termini. I will not have a hotel until later that evening when I reach my final distination so I have to set up everything before I leave the USA.
Jwilock, appreciate your comments about the credit card. I contacted them by phone this morning and they didn't say whether or not they had my reservation only that they would contact me in a day or two. I assume this meant that they did have my email asking why I had received a message that said my reservation request had failed. We'll see..... and I will ask them about specifically about whether they will accept a credit card.
