I just wanted to pass along that the May '05 issue of Bon Appétit is a special issue devoted to Rome, Florence & Venice - places to stay, eat and visit for all sorts of price ranges. Some great recipes, too.

Does anyone have experience visiting a restaurant shortly after it has been written about in Bon Appetit or Gourmet or any of the other food/wine/travel books? I've always kind of assumed that for a year or so after the publication these places are overrun.
