I have to spend some time in Greve this summer (the music festival) and the prices for houses and villas in the area are predictably high. We have a party of 8 adults and 2 children that are looking for a property (no don't email me, don't send me any messages about thank you). They are working with an agent. It prompted me to wonder - what is the average price for good quality accommodation for this size of group? A more selfish motive is pushing me into considering renting our own place outside Cortona (6 beds all ensuite plus pool) out when we are awy on research visits but my wife needs some persuading.

Try to book direct. Agencies naturally charge a commission (and rightly so). Hard to recommend if we don't know what you're paying or wish to pay.

In case, you should easily find something handy to Greve but closer than Cortona, with or without a pool.
