I'm having some trouble figuring out how to make some spa-only appointments in Montecatini in July; no need for any of the medical-type lavages (eek!). Picked up a couple of old threads from slow travelers--is there still a shoe market on Wednesdays?--but specifics about beauty treatments aren't in my guidebooks.

The perfect day would include both shoes and a fantastic facial...Thanks

You must contact one "stabilimento termale". They offer both beauty and health treatments. When you contact them you will explain that you are not intersted in the Health treatments, only in a mudbath etc. I think you will still have to go through the preliminary medical visit, though. Check this site, in the List --> Beauty programs menu it has a list of all different beauty/relax programs and in which "stabilimento" they are available.
