Can someone please help me with driving directions to the Villa Borghese parking lot?
I will be arriving from Sorrento and would like to go directly to the lot to drop off my rental.
Thanks!

the only parking lot I can think of is basically off of Corso di Italia. I think it is Piazza Brasile. The Viale del museo borghese also runs directly into this piazza.
I don't remember there being a rental office there, but it's been a while so maybe there is?

Here's something I posted earlier, with some editing:

Even though you're coming from the south, you'd be advised to circle Rome on the G.R.A. on the east side and wind up on the north side.

Exit at exit 8 for via Salaria; go towards Roma Centro. You'll stay on via Salaria for 8.4 km; just after the major cross street of viale Liegi on one side and viale Regina Margherita (you'll know that street signs are on the walls) on the other, stay straight and there will be a fork; bear right to leave via Salaria and join via Ruggero Giovannelli. That street merges with via Giovanni Paisiello, which becomes via Pinciana. Continue on that and you should be seeing small signs for ParkSi. You'll see the ancient walls and turn right onto via S. Paolo del Brasile; the entrance is to the left.

That said, you can decide whether you're confident enough to drive to this location. Alternative return places would be Ciampino airport (no airport surcharge for dropoffs) or via Tiburtina 905 near the G.R.A. on the east side.

Thanks for the detail Andrew, it was exactly what I was looking for. I wasn't clear that I was only leaving my car to catch a taxi to my hotel (albergo Cesari) so I will have to brave the traffic. I will be picking it back up after a Vatican tour the next day and heading north. I have read that this parking lot was situated for a fairly easy exit out of Rome. True?
Thanks again!

Yes, it's fairly easy. Find your way to via Pinciana and reverse the directions; there is again one fork where you bear right.
