Hello to both. I was recently in Arezzo and I could not agree with you more. I lived in Arezzo for 4 years and it was the best experience ever. Right now there is Luna Park, a mini traveling amusement park for young children. It is right off Via Giotto and my kids loved it last year. Also during the Christmas season, it is full of things to do and see. Thanks Amanda.Lucia
After a not so slow walk of the lower city during the midmorning 'til noon, and after we took in some of the outlying streets and alleys in the old town and while my wife and friend shopped, my friend and I strolled up the Corso and plopped at a table outside a wine shop and sipped and watched the city go by for most of an afternoon - we were about 3/4 of the way up the Corso toward Piazza Grande and had to walk down the Corso every hour or so to put money in the parking meter on the main street at the bottom of the hill (we did this three times over a three hour period because we had failed to find a parking garage on our way into town) - bit of a distraction, but worth it, since it helped "digest" the wine.
Arezzo is really worth a visit if you're in that vicinity.

Um...yup - we mosied up to the Piazza and beyond and went into an Town office building (Palazzo Pretorio)on the left corner of the Piazza thinking it was a museum - the security people were not pleased to have two smiling tourists barging in on an operating business - wonder why?
