spending two weeks in tuscany in september,we would like to tour the vasari corridor,which is the best way, the tour companies seem expensive, can we book direct with the uffizi ? or should we go with an on line booking agency. has any one booked lately thanks

I called earlier the office in Florence earlier this year and was told that the Corridor was closed all year. I later saw that some tour companies were offering tours. I haven't called the ticket office since my first call (late Feb, I think)
