Looked all over the reviews for Lucca rentals but have not been able to find one that fits. Hoping someone on here has a recommendation or a recent experience:

Here's what I am looking for:


1. Comfortable space to accommodate 2 adults and 3 boys ages 14, 12 and 9 years of age. Prefer a min of 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
2. Swimming pool
3. Short drive (less than 20Min) to Lucca/ train station and Autostrada.
4. Fully equiped kitchen to cook some of the meals.
5. Easy road access to the property.

I've looked thru Luccaholidayhomes.it (Deborah) and have noted a couple of rentals but there are no references and the pictures do not show everything we're looking for. I may be too picky here but really would feel more comfortable shelling out the deposit if I could read reviews of people that have experienced the place.

Anyone know of these properties? Anyone know of another Agency that focuses on Lucca properties?

I don't know anything about those specific properties but in 2006 we rented an apartment from Deborah and found that her agency was an absolute pleasure to deal with. I understand your concern about renting without a specific review but the place that we rented was exactly as described with no negative surprises. I would not hesitate to recommend her agency to anyone.

I would also like to put in a good word for Deborah. 3 yrs ago I met her in Lucca and she showed me a number of apts for a future return to Lucca. She was a delightful person. Unfortunately, we couldn't rent from her as her properties were all for a week minimum (we were looking for 3-4 days).
