The 2006 Winter Olympics will be held in Turin. The organizators are currently looking for 20,000 volunteers to work at the Games. Anyone who is aged at least 18 (or will be when the Olympics will be held) can enlist for volunteering by filling the form that can be found here. Also you can find informations on the opportunities you can find in Turin by working as a volunteer for the Games here (Italian only, it looks).

Alice - thanks for that information.. i think I might try to sign up.. one of my greatest jobs was working for the Los Angeles Olympics in 1984.. It is such a special time - all nations together in the spirit of sport! Will let you know what happens..
