I just love this Italian forum; it has answered all my queries to date, thank you. Lesley and I have definitely decided to spend a few days in Ravenna in April, and I see that it is fairly easy to get to Urbino by train/bus via Pesaro.
Returning to Rome we would like to go an alternative way. I see references to a bus company that goes daily from Urbino to Roma/Tiburtina. The company is www.autolineebucci.com, but I cannot work out their timetables from their website, (my Italian is not good enough!)I tried to email them, but they did not respond. Does anyone have any information regarding this timetable. I would appreciate any help that anyone can offer. P.S.Five weeks tomorrow we leave for 7 weeks in Italia, yippee!

Following a few links, it appears that it leaves Urbino at 3 p.m., arrives Rome at 7.30; €27 fare. The page is http://www.adriabus.eu/viewdoc.asp?CO_ID=4299 , which currently shows a schedule expiring Feb. 6; you can use the pull-down menus to enter your date, but it doesn't appear to work past February. I'd guess that's an established schedule, but you can confirm that when the date gets closer.

The new timetables starting on February 8th are available at the same address right now!
