Wow...we just bought tickets yesterday to Italy from Miami...it's costing us $920. per person..but we're going in May! Too bad!

Rar, I went on expedia yesterday out of curiosity to see if there were Left Coast deals currently; I don't know which airlines, because you have to go farther into the site than I wanted to, but there seem to be offers (for traveling soon) from LA-Rome for between $500-$600. Given the extra 4-1/2 hours in the air, it didn't seem a terrible price.

LAX from my house is a 7 hour car trip Wink I fly out of San Francisco.. typically the prices for spring are $600 and summer $900-1000. Much better for us to just fly to London and Ryanair/Easyjet to the destination.
