I set up a new forum for all our general travel topics - and started moving a few threads there. I just got started and will work on it more later today.

Also moved Technology on the Go up to the travel section and Questions down to Misc.

Hi, Pauline! 2:40 a.m. here and nothing better to do; I can't read no more, so here is a question: When I go to Travel Talk, right on top of the page there is a link to Europe Trip Planning. Any reason for this particular link in that rather general forum?

By the way, I like a lot the new look.

I really like the new organization too. I think it will take veteran STs some time to get used to, but will be extremely easy for new members to use and find answers.

The more links to previous posts and the Slow Travel pages the better. Perhaps there will be less repeating of the same old questions (usually on the more general topics) if it's obvious to posters how to search the site for that information first.

And I just noticed the links at the top of the Italy forum, with the direct links to all of the Italy restaurant reviews, rental reviews, etc. That is just SO conventient, not having to go through the Slow Travel home page, find Italy, etc. Love the organization.

Hi Doru! I quicky thru in that link to the Europe Trip Planning section since the forum is about travel in general, and that section on the site covers many general topics.

Geralyn, we also have "shortcuts" on the sidebar - click on the Shortcuts link beside italy and you get a short page with links to the most used sections. (Clicking the word Italy takes you to the main Italy page.)

And now it is called "Everything About Travel" and is moved to the top of the list, so everyone will see it. I added a few more general links on the forum main page.

This is a dynamite site with wonderful web design and sort of Rich. I could spend a vacation exploring it. And the new moves will help too.
