We have over 8000 private messages. I am going to do a mass delete at the end of this month to delete all more than 1 year old. From now on, I will do this quarterly.

If you want to keep any of your old private messages, print them or email them to yourself.

I cannot read your private messages, but I can delete them by date range from the admin panel.

You can delete messages yourself in your Private Messages section. Click GO > MY SPACE > PRIVATE MESSAGING.

I deleted all private messages older than June 1 2005. We started with 9803 private messages and now we have 6052. It is good to see that people are using this part of the system.
