I’m pleased as punch to announce that we have two new moderators TourMama (aka Judy) and Teaberry (aka Terry) have agreed to join the ranks of SlowTrav moderators! TourMama has traveled throughout Europe, been a member of our forums since March 2005, and has contributed several reviews and photo albums to SlowTrav. Judy joins us moderating the UK and Everything About Travel forums. Terry, also a European traveler (most recently completing a trip to Croatia), has been with Slow Travel since November 2005 and has contributed travel notes (about her beloved home town of Philadelphia), reviews, photos, trip reports, and most recently became a Gathering Hero as she helped coordinate our Great Slow Travel Gathering in Savannah Georgia this past spring. Terry will be moderating our Rest of Europe and North American forums.
I hope you will join me in welcoming our new moderators and wishing them well!

Today it rained in SoCal but this lovely news is a brilliant ray of sunshine. Thank you Judy and Terry for accepting these positions. We are so lucky to have you as new mods. Two more good reasons to be thankful!
Congratulations to two of my most favorite ST people! I feel close to both of you--real friends. But...why is everyone feeling that they now have to be on good behavior? How boring!?
Excellent news, congratulations to both of you! I've had the pleasure of meeting Terry - while biking in Pennsylvania - and hope to meet Judy some day as well.
cheers ladies, what a lovely piece of news! I'm happy that you are going to take on this new project. And happy for me that I actually have had the pleasure of spending time with both of you. Here's to future adventures!
Congratulations Judy and Terry. I am sure we will all benefit from your areas of expertise. Judy, thanks again for a great oratorio and silent film, Voices of Light/The Passion of Joan of Arc. It was excellent!! Ruth
