In case you (like me) have wondered about that little yellow icon in the far left column next to some of the discussions, I just learned that it marks a "Hot Topic." That’s one that has received at least 500 views or 50 posts. Maybe it is supposed to be a flame; it looks to me like PacMan. (see below)

I asked Pauline what it meant, since I couldn’t find anything about it here, and she asked me to post this announcement so nobody else would have to wonder.
