As you may know, Leslie in Australia ran the Slow Travel book club in 2007, but was unable to continue into this year.

Leslie did a fine job -- Thanks, Leslie!

Now we need a Gold Star member to take over the Concentric Reading Circle for 2008.

The leader's duties are minimal:
  • Manage the book list
  • Announce each month's book
  • Run the monthly chat
  • Request and post the chat transcript

Please post here or email me if you're interested.

Thanks!
Colleen

I'd like to do this, Colleen, if that's ok with everyone...and if someone wants to partner with me on it, that'd be wonderful!
Let me know what I need to do and when it needs to be done, please!

Great, Brenda. I'll send you a PM tomorrow with some details.

For now, can you find the last list of club books that Leslie compiled? The post should be in this forum or the Announcements forum.

Thanks!
Colleen

Brenda,

I, also, would be willing to organize and host one or two months. I don't know how to edit and post the chat though. Let me know what I can do to help.

The Lady in the Palazzo was August or September's book, I can't remember which. And Don't Let's Go to the Dogs was November, but the chat was cancelled.
