Members have noticed some intermitent problems with the availability or slowness of the Slow Talk web site in the last couple of days. As far as I know, Slow Trav was not affected. (My theory is that all our computer resources were directed at those times to helping Santa deliver all the goodies to our members and their families! )
We would like to let you all know that technical support is working on this. It is an intermitent problem though, therefore harder to track.
At this moment, for me at least, and elsewhere from what I can glean from the site traffic, it works perfectly well.
We will post here updates as necessary.

Just to let you all know, we haven't forgotten about this issue. We're working with Groupee, the company that developed and maintains these forums, in order to solve this problem. Again, as Doru stated, these intermitent problems are harder to track and therefore solve. As soon as we have any new information or this issue is resolved, we will post again.
Oh, and let me re-iterate, this problem is only on the forums. The SlowTrav Website has not been affected.
This has been on-going for a few days, now. Very aggravating...I try to log on, nothing happens, try again, nothing happens.
Then, in desperation, close the internet link, open it again and try to log on...and this time it works. Weird.
Write a reply to a topic, try to post it and nothing happens. Several times, nothing happens. THEN, lose the composed reply totally, then lose my mind!
Same question as Jane's...are there services other than Groupee?
