Marian and Shannon are busy this Thursday, so I am going to run the chat (anyone want to help me?). Chat in the Gold Star Chat room (premium members).

What do we want to talk about?

Pauline,

I'd be happy to help with chat. Would you like me to be the "Hello-goodbye girl"?

Pauline and Palma it is!! Palma can do the hellos and goodbyes, and I will make sure our conversation goes way off-track, like I usually do. Big Grin

Topics?

We could talk about upcoming trips - that is always fun.

NO, NO! Eek Eek Eek

ONE of you is the "hello" girl and the OTHER is the "goodbye" girl! This is the rule set by Shannon and me. Not to be messed with!

Then I will offer to say "good-bye" if you give me the set of rules Big Grin. Don't want to mess with the "system", heavens no.

But maybe you only need two girls Frown.

Ginger's recently posted question about when best to visit places in the US - expanded to include anywhere a chat member is from - could be an interesting discussion... if it hasn't been overdone by Thursday on the everything else board.

Of course I haven't managed to remember about chat for many moons -- but will try to do so this week, as I've missed talking with you all.

Palma says hello, Marcia says goodbye, and we all do the inbetween - sounds good.

I will check out Ginger's thread. We did a chat recently where we each talked about where we live.

How about your fantasy trip? You know, the trip you fantasize about taking one day? That would be a fun chat indeed. Big Grin

I love the idea of chatting about places to visit in the U.S.

Must we restrict it to just the US of A? There is another country up here on this land mass . . . one where the dollar still makes it a good deal for Americans!

So we should be talking about North America, then. Throw in Mexico, too, if we're talking land mass Wink.

We could have margaritas for Cinco de Mayo Martini(pseudo glass).

Personally I would love to talk aboot anything Canadian. Big Grin Some of my best vacation memories are from spending at least one week for many, many years at the Shakespeare Festival in Stratford.

Ginger - I could blather for some time about Stratford - it is one of my favourite places to be! It has undergone quite a culinary renaissance with amazing restaurants, cooking schools, food shops - pretty incredible stuff for a town of 20000.

Again, not a topic I'm particularly well versed in so I'll probably have little to say, but I'll try and make it, if only to hang out with yall for a little bit.
