Stella, great friend of ST, will join us in the chat room on Thurs. Jan 3rd. 5pm MT, 7pm ET.

Just in case you haven't heard--stella is Gina DePalma, who has recently authored a wonderful new cookbook, "Dolce Italiano"

I am very excited about this chat. Hope you can make it!

jan

This will be 4 PM for us west coasters.

I am really excited too! This cookbook is beautiful, destined to be a classic. I am not a baker, but Dolce Italiano inspires me to become one. I love books that inspire. Thumbs Up

I got my book from Amazon (and an extra one for a Christmas gift) about a week ago, and I have been studying it to see what I want to try first, probably next week for Christmas.

I bet we will have lots of questions for Stella on Jan. 3rd when we all chat!

I'm glad this chat is after Christmas because I'm sure Santa will be leaving this beautiful book under the tree for me!

I cheated and bought the book as a gift (no guilt that way). I hadn't decided whose name would be on it - but I think it will have to be Terry so that it stays in our house!

Now so long as he doesn't get ultra possessive I should have time to go through it before the chat. Wink Grin

I will still be on Maui that Thursday, so will sadly be missing that chat. I love Gina's book!

I hope Santa leaves me this book under the tree next week. I've been checking it out lately whenever I'm in a bookstore. It looks fantastic!
I'm definitely looking forward to the chat.

Wow, this is the book I picked for our February "Foodies Book Group" here at the store!
I didn't realize Stella was Gina. And I didn't realize we were doing a chat with her.
I'll be there for sure, and the chat log will be my "cheat sheet" for the book group discussion. Big Grin

I wish I could be there too, but won't be home in time.

Dolce Italiano looks great, congratulations on your book Stella. I just ordered my copy and look forward to reading and trying some of your recipes.

Thank you and have a great chat.

How exciting---I just saw her on TV yesterday.
I was in and out of the room--I didn't get to watch it all--I think it was the Martha Stewart Show!!

Chat in 10 minutes!

Jan and I will be hosting this one - so let us do the greeting and goodbye duties to keep the chat easier to follow.

In other words, I will "hi" and Jan will "bye" or vice versa. Everyone else can focus on our guest and the discussion.

See you in the chat room.

I'm not sure where the correct location on ST is to post this question but here seems as good a place as any: I'd love to read the transcript of the chat with Gina/Stella. Has it been posted? (I asked this question a couple of days ago and, at the risk of being a nag, here I am asking again. Hope someone can help. Thanks Smile)
