Groupee Community version 1.2.12 is ready, and is being released to your community soon.

We will be upgrading all of your communities to version 1.2.12 starting Wednesday night. Downtime will be minimal, less than 5 minutes will be required. It will take up to a full week to have all of our communities updated. Thus, if you're not upgraded in the first night or two don't worry! We haven't forgotten you.

Not much in this release - mostly Chat stuff. Here is the list:

General

1) Users are no longer allowed to add drive locations instead of URLS for custom avatars.

Admin

1) New User Moderation subscriptions have been added to MySpace
2) The code used to build reports has been updated making it faster for Groupee Community to display the various reports that are available.

Chat

1) Modified sort order in transcripts of moderated chats to sort by when the messages were approved instead of submitted.
2) Cleaned up the appearance of chat when the background image is larger than the chat window.
3) Changed scheduled chat start and stop times to use board time rather than server time. Admins that have recurring scheduled chats, and are not in Pacific Time zone will want to review their start and end settings.
4) Added a whisper feature. This is a one way private note to a user. To send a whisper to a user just click their name in the roster list.
5) Chat into text will properly display Chinese characters.
6) Several of the chat Wordlets have been updated to reflect the above changes.
7) All of the Graemlins work in emotes now.
8) Opening then closing multiple chat rooms will no longer cause the Graemlins selections menu to stop working.
