At the Paso Robles GTG some of us discussed a 2009 GTG in St. Louis. Big Grin

I take exception to the idea that St. Louis is for eccentrics. Wink

Doesn't every city have a place like City Museum? What's so unusual about an adult playground that is ACTUALLY a playground? Doesn't every museum have a log cabin bar that used to belong to Daniel Boone's family? Or a two story slide?

Shannon, we took you there. You know how normal the place is!

Seriously -- we'd love to have everyone here in St. Louis.

SlowTrav has quite a few connections to the gateway city:
Kim & Chris used to live here.
Jane & Ken used to live here.
Stephanie's family lives here.
Shannon has business customers here.
MoJen and Andrew both live "close" to here.

I bet a Six-Degrees survey would turn up a lot more connections.

I had a very vivid dream about the Arch a few months ago. You traveled to the top via an escalator that was on the outside of the arch...and so steep you had to hold on for dear life. Eek

I think a field trip is in order so I can set my subconscience straight. Especially since I also thought I was in Minneapolis (sorry, Deborah).

Jill, for the longest time I didn't believe you could actually go to the top. Then we had a friend going on this too b/c she didn't believe you could either - we finally took her to prove it. But yours, sounds like a nightmare I would have.

Deborah, I will add this to your Six Degrees survey:

My father's family was from there, tho I'm not sure what a one generational stop-over counts for these days Roll Eyes.

I think a GTG in St. louis would be really fun.

Marcia, any branch on the family tree counts as a connection. Wink Grin
