I just got home from a cooking class and dinner with Anne Robichaud. I promised her that I would post here when I got home. She wanted me to say hello to everyone from Slow Travel that she has met in Assisi.
Her cooking class was wonderful and I would highly recommend it to anyone that has the opportunity to attend or host one. I really loved how Anne was able to convey what life is like in Italy through the food and how an Italian family would prepare and serve the food.
Anne will be here in the U.S. until March 17th. I believe that she is headed to the San Francisco area next. You can find out more at www.annesitaly.com. Regards, Kathy
I've posted this before, but it's always worth another mention. I've hosted two of Anne's cooking classes in my home and they have always been fantastic! With food, knives, wine going like mad and Anne shouting instructions and cooking tips - it can get very lively.
Her recipes are easy to recreate away from the class and I've made them many, many times.
Unfortunately, we'll be in Assisi while she is here in the States.
