Has anyone been in San Miguel de Allende during Semana Santa? I've heard that SMA is wall-to-wall people in the street the whole week. We love Mexico, and SMA, but not that way! Would Guanajuato be a little better? We were there during the Cervantino and the crowds were not bad at all. Does anyone have experience with these or other Mexican cities during Semana Santa? I don't mind the festivities, but I don't want to be in a mob scene! I've also heard that lots of museums, restaurants etc are closed at that time. Thanks for any help you can give us!
