Yes, it's true. My wife wants to go to Hawaii to search for tiki antiques. Any suggestions which island to go to? Places to go? Websites which "lay it all out"?
THANKS!

Dude,
If I were looking for antiques in Hawaii, I'd Google "antique mall Hawaii" (or island of choice). Antique malls are large buildings broken up with stalls from multiple sellers of antique and vintage items.

I see many more antique malls around (some small towns seem to live off of them) than I do standalone antique stores.

I have no idea about antiques but would guess that you would find the most on Oahu. The problem though would be shipping them back...

I was thinking of that huge Aloha Bowl market... in Oahu. Not sure about Tiki Antiques though...Aren't Tiki artifacts treasured by the Hawaiian native?.. so it may be difficult to ship them out of state. But then, I could be totally off...

In Kapaa on Kauai there is an outdoor market that has some Tikis. They're not anitques, rather hand carved using traditional methods.

The market is located at the beginning of Kapaa across from Otsukas.
