We have a blog for our "group honeymoon" in Canada!
We will be in Canada from August 10 to September 3rd and we plan on using the blog as a way to keep families and friends up-to-date with our "adventure".
The pages are mostly in Italian, but we plan on having an Italian-English blog. We added a link to Google Language Translation Tools which translates the text into English. The translation is rough but not uncomprehensible!
People who wish to comment about the blog, please do so on the blog. This thread is just for the announcements.
Just a reminder, everyone! This thread will become unmanageable if everyone comments here. I'm going to remove a couple of comments that have already appeared here.
Last day of our holiday in Canada, (thank to Zoom airlines we got one extra day in Ottawa...).
Our blog is in Italian with a link to a google translation (sorry... I was too lazy!!!) but here is the photo page with three links to a selection of photos:
Blogging from the heart of the Rockies! We're totally enjoying a 2 week watercolour workshop with Gregg Johnson...Jasper is so gorgeous this time of year and the mountains are stunning!
The town is also still full to bursting with tourists, so that adds it's own little wrinkle to our time here! We took the boat cruise to Spirit Island and there were 11 different countries represented among the people on that boat..Spain, Thailand, Malaysia, Germany, Holland, Canada, United States...an amazing mini-United Nations in one 52 passenger boat!
"Painting: The art of protecting flat surfaces from the weather and exposing them to the critic." ~ Ambrose Pierce Brenda Horseshoe Lake...we hiked in from the parking lot and painted on site for the afternoon. Stunning location. Enjoy!
