I am looking for a lunch spot close to LAX. My parents arrive at noon (which is 2 to them) so i know they will want to eat right away...especially after their lovely meal on the plane! LOL NOT! I was thinking Manhattan Beach area....I definatley want it south of LAX as i live in the OC...so will be heading that way before the traffic. Thanks for any suggestions.....Does not need to be fancy...even just a good sandwich/salad place would do. Thanks

I googled Playa del Rey, and got this list: LAX eats.

We often go to Dinah's, which is really a coffee shop very close to the airport; they have a large menu of sandwiches, salads, breakfast all day and the best apple pancakes. They have been around forever, I remember going there as a child (my aunt and uncle lived in Westchester, so they were the "airport" family whenever anyone traveled, in those days my uncle would drive to LAX on back streets).
