It occurred to us that we'll be child-free on April 3rd and Chris has training in the city that day, so we booked the Millenium Hilton.

We opted for the pre-paid rate of $138 for the night - but without a pre-pay, they had rates of $150+ I know some people might not be crazy about it b/c it's all the way downtown (across from Ground zero) and in the midst of the construction but we don't mind the local and the "E" train is right outside the door.

Also, it seemed the Waldorf had a rate of $215 a night.

Might be worth looking for some spring breaks in NY.
