Need information about what I can do for an afternoon in Springfield while 3 of group are at basketball hall of fame. I am in the book biz would be interested in shops in that general area if possible. Thanks

You might want to retitle this since Springfield is 1.5 hrs away from both Boston and Providence.

Springfield itself probably won't have what you're looking for. If you want to drive around half an hour, you'll be in the Northampton/Amherst area, with plenty of interesting bookstores.

Thanks sounds like I would be just as smart to stay at the horse show, our horses are showing Sunday and Wed.am So they plan to hit the BHF
