Janie - I loved reading this! I've never been to Whistler since my husband and I fell in love with Alta and Snowbird. I could feel the passion for skiing in your writing though. I haven't been able to ski fo the last 3 seasons since i've either been pregnant or nursing but I can't wait for the 2006/07 season. When i read "whether they prefer groomed or off-piste, bumps or cruising, steeps or easy … ", my heart just clenched. I can't wait to ask our friends that same question again. I also can't wait to ski the steeps, bumps and trees again!

Hi Mary, thanks! Pauline just found my photos and is updating this travel note.
When you are able to travel with your children and make it to Whistler, let us know. We love nothing better than meeting new people and showing them our favorite runs.

Great notes! Thanks Janie. The notes will come in handy for my summer trip to Whistler.

Thanks Janie! We are also HUGE fans of Whistler, but only go in summer since we don't ski. It really is a great year-round vacation spot. The best thing about visiting in the off season are incredibly reasonable accomodation rates. We love to stay in the Eagle's Reach condos where every unit has it's own hot tub - even in summer!
