Just want to know if it's hassle-free and convenient to take MARTA to the airport on a Tues morning around 9am-10am with a luggage and a carry-on. I'm going to be downtown, at Georgia World Congress Center. I'm wondering whether I should book a shuttle service instead.

As long as you are staying close to a MARTA stop that sounds like a good plan. You'll be slightly after the major morning rush which is good, and of course it is much cheaper than a shuttle.

I think it's an easy choice to take MARTA. That's exactly what I do.

Just make sure you give yourself PLENTY of time to get to the airport.

As a postscript, I did take MARTA to the airport and it was indeed a breeze! It was so cheap ($1.75) and amazing that it took me right inside the airport. I wish we had a rail system like that in LA!

We wish we had it here in the suburbs of Atlanta. Ten years ago no one wanted it; now with the way traffic and gas prices are, people want it to come to the suburbs.
