Can anyone recommend a large house that they have rented in the Disney area? We rented a 4 bedroom house in Oak Island off of vrbo.com last year and loved it. This time parents and a second child are coming so we need a bigger place. Looking for a 6 or 7 bedroom place. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Are you talking about Disneyland in Anaheim, CA or Disney World in Orlando, Fla?

I recommend using www.homeaway.com and www.homelidays.com for vacation rentals by owner. I used homelidays for a trip to Italy and I used homeaway for a trip to Puerto Rico. I currently am inquiring on homeaway again for a trip to Disney also! I find homeaway easier to navigate and read. Good luck!

As I am in the Orlando area, to be honest, I know of NO places where you're going to find a house of that size outside of Windermere or Winter Park which are the higher end towns of the area, and those folks don't rent.

You may be able to find a few condos that would be next to each other in the attractions area but finding a house of that size just won't be out there. Our homes in FL are not that large EXCEPT if you're Tiger Woods, Shaq or one of the other celebs who live in the area.

For good rentals of condos, VISTANA does offer some GREAT deals with full service and a complete complex for entertaining the kids.

We have used them when we want a close getaway or when we don't want to lug the grandkids out to Disney.

There are tons of house listed in vrbo.com that meet the criteria I am looking for. I am really just looking for a recommendation of a house someone has actually stayed in.
