Looking for a warm vacation spot during Spring Break for 4 adults who don't want wall-to-wall partying college students. Would love to rent a place for a week.
Suggestions for places to go?
Thanks!

Robert's question "in the US?" is a big one. Also, are you purely escaping to the warmth/any warmth or do you have other "wants" (ie. beach, nature, city, village, public transport, etc.). Add some more specifics and then I'm sure you'll get some great suggestions.

These (and South Walton County in the above post) places are warm in March, and you can probably swim by April, but they are not exactly south Florida or Mexico. That's why they are not swarming with college kids.
Amelia Island, northeast Florida. Quaint downtown, quiet beaches. From the marina, you can take boat or ferry to Cumberland Island to go to the beach or walk through a ruined mansion. The wild horses are friendly. Wildlife in this region is abundant--there are more sea turtles than coeds here.
Port St Joe on the northwest side of Florida. Near Windmark, you can walk and walk and not see anybody. Go to charming Apalachicola for oysters. Cape San Blas is one of the most beautiful state parks in the USA.

How about the US Virgin Islands? On VRBO, there are still many vacation rentals available in late winter/early spring, at a variety of prices. With 4 of you going, you've already figured out that you can help each other defray your rental costs.
I have always found the islands to be very relaxing, and not really very swarmed with college kids on break (I've been there 3 times in the past, although not recently). I highly recommend looking into St. John, where 3/4 of the island is a national park.
