Thanks, Jerry! I had ordered last week from our Library a guidebook for San Diego; now I figure I can cancel it! Dorky Traveler

Thanks for writing this up Jerry, it brought back some good memories-especially all the great food we ate! Can't wait to eat at the Vine again at the STGTG in March-that was yummy.

Jerry did not mention how he and Paul saved my a$$ by helping me haul my large suitcase from Shannon's apartment to Old Town so that Ken could then lug to his car for me! Thanks again.

Sometimes it's embarrasing to be a petite female dependent on broad shoulders for luggage duty. Blushing

You write the greatest trip reports. I love all the detailed descriptions and you never let me down with the details on the food and drink. What a great 4 days. Looking forward to our SD GTG! Great report and a big thank you.

Hi Jerry,

Enjoyed your report & photos. BW wants to visit some part of California within the next few years. I kinda figured on a "Sideways" trip, but may have to make some changes.

Funny how I had completely forgotten about the suitcase the size of Colleen!

Hmmmm

I guess I'll need to cut back on cardio and do more weights instead to prepare for luggage filled with balsamico, OO flour, and parmigiano cheese in Bologna!

Doug - this was the first 'non-sideways' trip we've done to California - not a single winery! Wine has featured in heavily our other 6 trips to the state!
