I returned from San Diego last Friday, spending a week there, part pleasure and part business. I had a great time and highly recommend a visit to San Diego.

I just returned from San Diego as well. We ate at the best restaurant for an oceanview. It's in LaJolla and is called George's at the Cove. We ate at their Outdoor Terrace Bistro (not their more expensive indoor dining room). The outdoor terrace is casual and has a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean. We timed our dinner so that we were able to watch the sun set slowly into the ocean as we dine. It was magnificent!
They take reservations for half of their tables and save the other half for walkins. However, make a reservation and request a table by the water's edge.
