I thought I posted about this before, but can't find the post now ...

Yesterday Judy (TourMama) and I saw this exhibit Marie-Antoinette and the Petit Trianon at the Legion of Honor -- after some near 4-wheeling to find a space in the storm strewn dirt and branch laced parking lot!

The exhibit was nicely laid out with jewelery, paintings, furniture grouped as it was in the Petit Trianon, and informative text. We each got the audio guide, too, which I found very helpful.

If you're in San Francisco before the exhibit ends February 17th, I encourage you to see this show. It was a tantalizing glimpse into Marie-Antoinette's life, that left me curious to learn more.
