We will be in Seattle for a couple of days, but would prefer to fly back to Toronto from Vancouver.

We will have a car, but would prefer to drop it off in Seattle since it will be rented from a point in the States, and we won't need it in Vancouver anyway.

What are the options for the transfer Seattle to Vancouver, or Seattle to Vancouver International Airport.

Thanks!

Quick Coach is one option. You can also fly. Amtrak goes between Downtown Seattle and Downtown Vancouver. I'll look around and see if there are any others.

Thank you, Marta! We haven't figured out the flights yet but would also consider going from Seattle directly to the Vancouver Intl' Airport, if there is such option. Very much appreciate your help!

Doru, we once took a rather small plane flight from Vancouver Island to Seattle, over the San Juan Islands etc, and it was a magnificent sightseeing experience from the air. I don't know if the timing works for you, but there may be a similar service to Vancouver (proper) Intl Airport. If so, it is worth looking into.

Carol, Did you fly via seaplane? Kenmore Air flies seaplanes between Lake Union downtown Seattle and Victoria. It does go to Vancouver via Victoria. You would have to get downtown from the Airport.

Because of the cruise lines to Alaska, there are commercial flights between Seattle and Vancouver. I think Alaska Air and Horizon Air both have flights. The Alaska cruise shipsused to depart only from Vancouver but we now actually have cruise ships leaving directly from Seattle. The cruise business to Alaska is really big so there are options to travel between Seattle and Vancouver. Also Bellingham because of the Alaska Ferry.

Marta, it was a seaplane and it landed at Lake Union, so it must have been Kenmore Air. It was a special treat.
