Has anyone ever stayed at this resort , or in the sister properties?

I am thinking about taking my ten-year-old granddaughter there for a bit less than a week, coming back before Labor Day. The main thing would be to be at a place on the beach (I know this is Nantucket Sound), with a pool, etc, that would likely have things for kids to do.

The last time I stayed on Cape Cod was several decades ago, when we really enjoyed our stays in West Harwich. I liked being on Nantucket Sound.

I know there are a lot more charming places, and that they would be cheaper. This vacation (if we can work it out) would be a grandma-granddaughter thing and a charming in-town B&B just wouldn't do it

I haven't stayed there, Marian, and don't know South Yarmouth all that well (we usually stay in Orleans when we go to the Cape). But it does look like a nice place, and a good choice with a 10-year-old.

Do check out the activities at the National Seashore (headquarters in Eastham) if you go to the Cape, as they have lots of great nature walks and other programs for kids.

Marian,

I spent every summer as a youth on the Cape with my parents over near Buzzard's Bay. The resort we stayed had a pool and beach like this one so I am sure the 10 year old will be fine. They'll be gone from dawn until dark with friends they just made and you'll be able to relax on the beach!

West Yarmouth is very nice and I agree, I much prefer Nantucket Sound as well!

Have fun!

Thanks, but now it looks as if our plans are heading in a different direction.
