Hi, I need your advice on a taxi company for a pick-up from Jersey City to the Newark airport. Is there a company that some of you use that I should choose over others? Will appreciate your advice. Thank you. Barb Cabot

Jersey City to Newark Airport is not a very long ride. Is this for your daughter? Why not just call a local cab company?

Barb,

There are several limo companies which provide service between Newark Airport and communities in North Jersey. I have used one or another and so have my brothers, but I have no recollection now which one. Here, though, is a Port Authority site which lists several possibilities. You'll want to look at the last box on the right for New Jersey.

Thanks Marian and Appalannie. Yes, this is for my daughter. I appreciate your help. She can just call a cab. I was thinking there was a shuttle service that might exist. We often use Super Shuttle to take us to LAX. It's reliable. I thought maybe there might be one company over another but since it's not a far ride it may not make a difference. Thanks so much. Barb,

Before she leaves Jersey City, tell her to have breakfast at the Brownstone Diner & Pancake Factory. It was featured on Drive-In's, Diners and Dives on the food network. When Judith and I ran north in early June, we made it stop on the way in to NY. It was worth it!!

If she likes Greek food, have the Mousakka which is awesome and home made by the owner himself!
