Yes, I searched. Nada.
What is there in Rome, NY? My daughter is spending some time in the area on a business trip and can't seem to find anything but a museum of long distance running in Utica.

Hey - there are two Rome NYs (I didn't know that just turned it up on mapquest).

Anyway - we have this trip report which I think covers the area:

How I Discovered Central NY Or As The Locals say: Upstate

Since I grew up halfway between Rome and Utica, NY I can offer something about Rome (aside from the fact that I prefer the one in Italy about a million to one). Rome NY is a small city, formerly home to Griffiss Air Force Base which at one point was a major east-coast B52/Cruise missle repository. It has been decommissioned for about 10 years, and now contains an industrial park. Rome also has Fort Stanwix, a Revolutionary war era fort completely reconstructed at its original site and worth a visit. In the immediate area, if one is a Revolutionary war buff, there are a multitude of sites, including the Oriskany battlefield and monument, as well as Gen. Stueben's home; further toward Syracuse, Oneida Lake has a big casino, fishing, a horse-racing track, and an interesting saltworks. You'll also find some nice scenery and natural beauty if you like nature - Rome is essentially at the foot of the Adirondack Park. Oh, did I mention the snow? If there is something specific you need to know, by all means I'll do my best to answer. Happy trails (?)

Thanks....I think.
It may be an enhancement to her September trip when she will see this Rome to have seen that one.
She refuses categorically to consider the museum of long distance running. Picky, picky.
