Howard Fitzpatrick does wonderful tours on art and architecture in Venice. They are private and he will arrange them to your special interests or needs. The tour was wonderful for us but the girls were overwhelmed and a bit bored. There is SO much of Venice to see and learn about. Hotels in NYC (in North America) by KellyC I don't know any of them, but from looking at the sites I would say this: Beekman is in no man's land over by the UN. Not a very good location.
